I recently purchased three Devialet Phantom I 108 dB Gold speakers and a new Roon Nucleus One. Although Devialet advertises the Phantom I as Roon Ready, Roon identifies all three speakers as “Not certified” and blocks RAAT playback. This makes the system unusable in the way it was purchased and intended.
Devialet’s support team confirms that Phantom I should work with Roon, yet their proposed solution is to bypass RAAT entirely and use an external optical path via Devialet Arch. This contradicts the Roon Ready designation and does not align with the Roon certification message displayed in the app.
I would like clarification on the following:
Is the Devialet Phantom I 108 dB Gold currently certified by Roon Labs as a Roon Ready (RAAT) device?
If not, is certification in progress, or should I assume it will not be supported?
Is there any way to enable RAAT playback with the equipment I have, or must I return the Nucleus One because the Phantom I cannot function as a certified Roon Ready endpoint?
Thank you for your guidance.
Kind regards,
Lennert

That is odd as I have two Phantom 1 and both show up as Roon Ready devices, can you share a screenshot of settings:audio showing these Phantoms please.
I admit they are not the Gold but I would hope that does not make a difference although only @support could answer that.
I do not see that the Devialet Phantom I 108 dB Gold is certified. I will clarify the status with the certification team and get back here with the updates.
To clarify, we need to reboot this Nucleus at least two times to ensure the unit has 1) downloaded and 2) configured the correct device information for this Devialet endpoint.
Please let us know if you’re still having this issue after the double reboot. We’ll watch for your reply.
Account diagnostics indicate a Roon Ready device matching the Devialet hardware in question might be active in your ecosystem. Are we correct in assuming this issue is resolved?
We’ll tentatively mark this Solved, but if you require any further assistance, the thread will be open another day or two. Thanks!
