That is correct, but also, in one case, album title.
So the upshot is that all tracks in the same folder have to have the same ALBUM tags and probably ALBUMARTIST tags. Thanks again!

It’s actually worse than this. The alternate spelling - same artists were in different folders but still caused this problem.

Hmmm. Odd, that. Would think Roon would have had to handle that already.
Everything about this issue seems odd to me. All the files in question have been on my server for years, yet the problem scanning began only recently.
Well, I know which four albums I changed, so I’ll move them out of the way and see if I can localize it.
