Description of Issue

Roon Server is repeatedly crashing for more than a year. It crashes when using Roon Remote but also when not.

Should i:
a) buy Nucleus+
b) run Roon Core from NUC or macmini
c) install more RAM on Nucleus
d) ?

Hi @Gregor_Pompe ,

I just checked your Nucleus diagnostics and it looks like you have 140k tracks imported to the Core. I would go with option C and install more RAM in your Nucelus. You’ll need to use CL19 Unbuffered DDR4 RAM, please see the following thread for RAM suggestions:

Thanx for the answers. Can I get somewhere some instructions/manual how to perform the swap of the ram. I open the id, removed the hard drive, but it seems that also this plate which holds the hard drive should be removed, because I see there down the original RAm.

Yes, you need to remove the drive baseplate in order to access the RAM connectors. What more do you need to know?
