Description of Issue
Every morning I receive a crash report, usually occurring 1:00 am or later and Roon has to be restarted. Sometimes while streaming Roon shuts down and I have to manually restart the Core, also I receive messages that Roon can’t find the Core.
I’m not sure if this is related to your issue but there is some information here about Mac power settings.
Post 2.0 I started having issues with my Mac running Roon Bridge that were caused by my MacBook’s display dimming.
Did you get a chance to look at the power settings @Placebophile suggested?
Roon 2.0 is a different architecture that now properly observes a Mac’s energy saver settings. Changing the Mac to be always on and to prevent the hard disks from going to sleep usually do the trick in resolving your issues with Roon.
