Since January 12th I have not been able to perform a backup either manually or scheduled. I tried switching to Dropbox with the same results. Anyone else having this problem since the latest update?
Terror is the name of the thumb drive. I tried another thumb drive with the same results. I have been able to back up to Dropbox. It seems like something is different since the last update. I used that thumb drive for the whole time that Iāve owned the Nucleus. It stopped backing up on January 12th.
As an aside, thumb drives are not the best to use for backups because they donāt have error correcteion, so if any of the thousands of files that get backed up gets corrupted the whole backup is shot. You should use a USB HDD for local backup.
I would take that drive and plug it into a PC and check it. It might have an issue. Do you know what the format of the thumb drive was? It should be exFAT. NTFS will have potential issues with the Linux based OS of the Nucleus.
