Hopefully I can direct it to my library on the Qnap. So I don’t have to purchase a SSD.
Can I now delete the container station files on the Qnap once I get the Nucleus up and running?

Yes, you’ll be able to connect your local library via a network share.
As long as you have a few Roon backups saved and available, you should be fine to do this. ![]()

Here is a guide for migrating your Roon Server to the Nucleus. If you have a Roon backup, you can skip to step two.
Alternatively, you can start fresh with a new database on the Nucleus One.
In either case, you can connect Roon to the QNAP storage folder hosting your library by adding the volume as a network share. Here are instructions:
