Qobuz albums will be unavailable. However, you may use Soundiiz to transfer the albums to TIDAL, so they show up in Roon.
And further…
Other tracks on that album now refuse to play. On other Jack Johnson albums, as well.
All affected tracks are FLAC 96/24. If I fall back to FLAC 44.1/16, things seem okay.
Let it be known: This latest update was NOT a fix for me.
[Redacted]
I’m glad the software update has things working better, if not entirely fixed.
It was never presented as a fix.
The Roon update is not a fix for the underlying issue, it’s just for more graceful behavior (not starting to hang) if a track is not playable:
As long as Qobuz is messing with their CDN, what are not-playable tracks at any time can probably change. The fix for the bigger issue is ongoing:
Thank you. This is the second time I have had playback issues with Qobuz in the past 2 years. Add to that it always behaves wonky on the mobile version; like needing a connection to start playback of downloaded albums. I’m out. I have used Soundiiz in the past for playlist transfers among various streaming platforms. I didn’t know it worked with albums I added while in Roon.
Thanks for clearing that up. And I agree: It’s not a fix to the underlying issue.
I’m now really on the fence on whether I’d prefer that hard-stop, or the more “elegant” solution.
Yes, it will transfer all Qobuz favourites to TIDAL favourites. If both subscriptions are active, this can be dome directly in Soundiiz.
Otherwise, use Roon Export to Soundiiz.
Yeah, opinions differ. I think it’s without doubt better that Roon does not completely hang itself in this case of an unrecoverable non-playable track, but it could also not hang and nevertheless stop neatly instead of skipping. (This is somewhat independent of the current Qobuz issue, as unplayable tracks can occur for other reasons. There are older feature suggestions about this in Feedback > Feature Suggestions)
Be aware though that play count and tags will be gone when you change from Qobuz to Tidal.
Father, father,
Thanks for your reply.
What a weird coincidence. Only happens when I’m trying to stream some Qobuz titles in a play list or from Roon radio. the track will not load, and it goes wonky, wonky, will not play track?Does not do it when streaming Tidal so apparently it is related to Qubuz. Will see if there is a fix otherwise, No Qobuz renewal in June.
Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up. Though I have never figured out how to use tags beneficially, so no worries there.

To add more detail, certain songs like the one pictured simply do not load.] It just spins for a minute then gives up, the very next song in the album works fine. Up to date, restarted everything, etc.
Exactly the same problem over here, but I saw some quickly disappearing messages like “Too many errors …” and “Track could not be loaded”
Please, don’t get me wrong, but this thread seems to develop into some #metoo chat.
Let’s calm down for a while. I think we do not need further comments esp. like “it’s happening for me as well” or “I have another track which does not play”.
The issue is known, and Qobuz and roon are already working on it, i.e. reducing unwanted side effects and creating a fix.
Currently, there’s isn’t really more to add.
Just wait for further information from those who know ![]()
Hello,
I doubt that the problem lies solely with Qobuz. The track Light as the breeze by Leonard Cohen - The future is sometimes playing and sometimes it skips. Very strange.
With the track I can’t forget by Leonard Cohen - I’m your man I experience the same behavoir.
I have installed the latest version of Roon.
Regards, Richard

The Qobuz track Fat Old Sun (Live At Pompeii 2016) fails to play in Roon. It either hangs or skips immediately to the next track. All other tracks on the album play normally except The Great Gig in the Sky. I am using Roon Server 2.64 (build 1646) on a Linux PC playing to Ropieee Version 2.60 (build 1501) on a Raspberry Pi. This issue has existed for at least 4 days
