Roon won't start any more

@Support - Windows 10 - Roon is stuck at the automated logo. Here is what I have tried:

  • updating graphics drivers
  • 32 bit version
  • complete uninstall including registry traces and RAATserver directory
    -disabling firewall

But no matter what I do it seems stuck at the automated logo. I used Fiddler and think it is stalling at connecting with push.roonlabs.com

How do I get Roon working? Thank you

Mike

Hey @J_Michael_Orszag — Thanks for reaching out, and apologies for the difficulties here.

First, so we can better understand what you’re experiencing, please provide a brief description of your current setup using this link as a guide. Please be sure to include some additionally information about your Core machine.

Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating.

Since noticing this behavior, have you tried power cycling your Core machine?

Thanks!
Dylan

Core machine: Windows 10, Surface Book 2, 16 gb memory, all the latest patches
using Google Wifi router, Roon is standalone - originally had maybe 1000 music files in a attached disk drive but it won’t start with none at all.
Tried power cycling and uninstalling quite a few times

Hey @J_Michael_Orszag,

So we can take a closer look, I was hoping for now you could use the directions found here and send us over a set of logs using a shared Dropbox link.

Thanks,
Dylan
