Roon won't start August 2021 [resolved by deleting tidal account file]

Roon has suddenly stopped loading, it just hangs on startup. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, no change. Worked fine 3 days ago, no updates since then, so not sure what is causing issue.

Can you try the following?

Stop RoonServer on the Web UI
Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
Try to start Roon again

Yes, I had done that before submitting the ticket. This time around I also uninstalled Tidal completely and now Roon comes up. Will try to reinstall Tidal and see if it still works. Thanks.

Just to add that I’m glad I saw this. Got the same problem last night and this has cured it just now.
