@Marco_de_Volder welcome to the Community. Can you please provide additional information on what you are experiencing, it is not clear what is the issue. Are you using the W10 PC as a Roon Server or Roon Remote? If the former, is the Roon Server application running? If the latter, what are you using for your Roon Server?
Hello, I’m using my pc as a server and can’t be started.
I already tried the first steps mentioned in the Roon support.
(Uninstalled Nvidia drivers and roon,then installed Nvidia drivers again+latest net framework)
Still the same issue.
No loop or crash,Roon will just not start.

New install didn’t work.

How can I send this log?
Firewall is ok for private use on roon,roon appliance en raatserver.
Is Roon Server confirmed to be running? It’s a separate application from Roon.exe.
Is your Network set to Private. as well as firewall exceptions for rroonserver.exe, roonapliance.exe, and raatserver.exe?

Note, the logs we would need here are for both the Roon and RoonServer folders.
Sometimes this is normal, if you reinstall Roon or have performed a RAATServer reinstall as a troubleshooting step in the past, perhaps you saw this listed as a troubleshooting step previously?

I also did a roon reinstall and also checked the firewall settings.
The issue stays the same.

How did you perform a new install specifically? As a next step, let’s fully remove Roon from the windows and do a fresh install - do you have a recently saved backup?
After you uninstalled Roon, navigate to C:\Users\[*Your username*]\AppData\Local and delete all Roon folders:
RAATServer
Roon
RoonGoer
RoonServer
After a fresh install (download here), restore your recently saved backup to load your prior library settings.
Hello Benjamin, Roon is still not working.
My gear : Windows 10 pc as a server and roon interface(which I use mostly).
The pc is connected with audiobyte black dragon dac.(with usb)
Sometimes I use my smartphone as a “remote” instead of the pc interface.
I did a clean install yesterday,which means I uninstalled roon completely,even the links to it in the registry.
Today I did a clean install again according to your suggestions,still not working on the pc.
Suddenly I can connect to roon mobile(smartphone)and I installed the last backup with my smartphone(29 september)
I still get no interface on my pc.
The only thing that happens is that the cursor blinks twice for 2 seconds.(which was happening from the beginning of the problem)

Thanks for giving that a try! Our servers aren’t picking up on the remote instance of Roon on your PC, could you please send over a fresh set of Roon logs from the windows? Here’s the upload link:

I have uploaded the logs.
Does this problem perhaps have something to do with the nvidia driver?
In the past I had problems with that driver, so I didn’t update it for a while.
Roon also continued to work.
I recently updated again and the nvidia driver gave no problems.
In the meantime there have also been minor Windows updates.
I mention this because I can now use the roon app on my smartphone, the roon arc app sees my PC but the connection status is “not allowed”.
So I still don’t see any roon appearing on the PC.
“Roon server satus” is running.

Thanks for your patience as we looked into this issue. We brought up the logging with the team and we were wondering if you can you please confirm the exact behavior of the Roon app when this issue occurs? Do you see the Roon app show up in Task Manager and then crash? Does it show as running in Task Manager but the interface doesn’t load? Or does it not show up at all in Task Manager?

The app shows up in the taskmanager without crash. The interface doesn’t load.
I can use my smartphone to control Roon. Roon ARC doesn’t work.
In the settings of roon arc it says “arc connection status not allowed”,
probably because the interface isn’t loading.
What happens when I want to open Roon on the PC :
the “windows waiting cursor” (small blue circle) flashes twice for about 2 seconds.
Then nothing else happens, not even a crash.
In the screenshots you can see when I start Roon with the smartphone app.
