When I got home my T-shirt was wet from sweat and that was wearing my mesh motorcycle jacket.
Definitely, every year the temperatures are breaking records and it makes the humidity more noticeable.just sitting doing nothing and the sweat pours off as it is too humid to evaporate.
Sounds like a normal day here then ![]()
I will be glad when it drops tomorrow, U.K. houses are designed for cooler weather not this.
I do remember that, all our friends back there complaining of the heat, its just about a default that all houses over here are built with AC, same with cars, the UK definitely not.
We are spoiled brats over here.
It has been raining consistently since I got my Honda a week or so ago. Sod’s Law.
We could really use some rain here, Drizabone springs to mind.
Absolutely p!$$ed!
Bit cooler this morning so took the ZX9R out and the head gasket blew after about 6 miles!
Well rowlocks!![]()
More time and money down the drain.
Bad news
I guess you will have to work for at least another couple of weeks now ![]()
Ack, that sucks.
Shirley you are jesting!
Couple hours tops🤣
I just wanted you to write that out ![]()
What a bummer ![]()
Either service way overdue or twirling that throttle a bit too eagerly?
I guess you hadn’t noticed any coolant leaks or overheating before it blew.
Hopefully the cylinder head and block aren’t warped.
For me it would take much longer , even getting up before I went to bed working 25 hours a day 8 days a week and eating scraps out of bins to make ends meet.
I think it was just generally life as a drag bike finally caught up with it as since getting it back on the road I dont think I have gone past 7k rpm.
And hopefully the head and block surfaces are not warped or it might just end up int he scrap pile and look for another motor.
I sold the MV Augusta before it needed any expensive repairs, I enjoyed it immensely but time to move on.
Just picked this old girl up today.
2006 Suzuki DL1000 with 25k miles.
Rides out very nicely.
Very comfortable and it includes a rear box big enough to hide in😜.
All quiet on the Western Front I see.
Well another Sunday another Sonic.
Just iced coffee again honestly G’nor!
Starting to turn to seriously good biking weather.
Been high 90’s for way to long here. Very unseasonal.
But tomorrow looks like we are simply skipping the 80’s and going straight to 70’s!
