Roon was supposed to be listen against the Sq Touch on picture but soon I purchased a ProJect combo Stream S2 Ultra plus PreBox S2 digital DAC
Vynils and Cd’s are still present and I like them too. CD Player Marantz Cd94 MkII and Rega P1
Quite simple: self powered speakers Prodipe and Sq Duet. Nice sound on the bedroom for listening before sleeping and sometimes just awaken.
I reach Roon from LMS (Sq players) and now I run Roon on a i3 silent Pc -under Windows- and my music is stored onto a NAS Ds218j. Roon plays on the main equipment by cable and on bedroom by WiFi.

I was attempting to pull a plug from the back of an Audioquest 5000. You may know that they deliberately make the connections very (very) tight. I could not easily get behind the unit and asked my wife to do it (which she did), and looking at the cables, she commented “no credit given for a tidy installation?”
Yes it does! On the ROON Settings screen there is a "Enable Squeezebox Suppotrt " toggle switch. Thats the main reason I purchased the lifetime membership for ROON. Even though it only upsamples to 24/48, the Duet was my first foray into streaming music and I’ve never looked back. Still can’t believe Logitech abandoned streaming (along with their great universal remotes). Oh, whoops, you were talking about the remote. No, it does not “control” ROON.
