I’m just wondering what it would look like if Apple or Amazon advertised their products on TV like this, are the existing speakers, Roon, Tidal or Qobuz in grave danger?
Apple’s $4.99 voice plan will reach many markets on a date not yet determined, Amazon Prime has been in the market as a cheap offering for years, and Spotify will be streaming free with ads for much longer.
These offerings will get colorful helpers and many free trial months in time for the holiday shopping season with ever-growing catalogs in 3D audio music, Dolby Atmos or 360 Reality. Will three-dimensional sound be more grand than with existing Hi-Res products and Roon transport protocols?
Amazon has had 3D audio on sale for two years now, but only on a few devices like the company’s Echo Studio speaker. Was the groundbreaking audiophile development? Now Amazon and Apple are getting very colorful in their next tech offensive.
The 4th Echo generation appeared in basic colors and subtle pastel shades. The Echo Red wants to live up to its name and glows like the nose of the ominous reindeer just in time for Christmas.
That this reindeer comes through the chimney into the living room, you can certainly tell the children, a full-grown audiophile certainly has other wishes.
Now the red cloth for cleaning the sound bodies and sound sources is still missing. Surely there is a 360 reality free cleaning show for this right before Christmas with free trial subscription.
I would not want to change despite massive advertising and discounts

Love ProAc’s! Noticed you positioned tweeters on opposite, contrary to what ProAc manual advises. Any thought behind that? Any SQ difference?
Put this together last year and very happy with the sonic performance in 2.0, 2.1 and 5.1 use. Rear speakers are a pair of Focal Diablo Uropia.

Love the lighting. What are they, where do you get them from and can they be controlled by Alexa?
I actually found them from an ad on Facebook of all places. They are remote controlled. You can control them from Alexa for enough money and mods to them I’m sure. LOL
