Thanks you. I wouldn’t think to try that until you suggested.
Nice space. Some people seem to master the decor aspect of listening room much better than my “nest”. Looks so inviting, certainly makes you just want to sit and spend time in this room…enjoying music.
Not all 320kbps are created equal eh?
They most certainly are not.
He has a wireless fan too.
Ah, the Haiku fan. I got it because it is very quiet. It is a bit pricey. It has a “woosh” feature that gently varies the speed to mimic breezes.
I know they’re pricey. I got three of them. Luckily we got the lamp fittings cheaply from Ikea to make up for it.

Just a nice Retrowave desktop theme to go with the mood!

If Jessie Ware would see this now, she brings a new hit single Spotlight Blue. Before that, I would still try everything in Red and play the wildest moment.
We got our fiber connection upgraded to 10Gbe, and I finally got around finishing the home network by wiring up the house!
Replaced all phone and TV-antenna sockets that are not used anymore with double network outlets. All cables runs through the attic and down to the patch panel in a hallway closet where also the incoming fiber is located together with my NAS storing all local music files, and the Intel NUC running ROCK.
At last, I’m able to run all my Roon endpoints wired, and stable - goodbye wireless bridges
Yes, one of the selling points for my current house, is that when it was built, they had put conduit from the central closet to all the rooms. Makes re-wiring a breeze.
Amen to that!
Beautiful!
Love the blue dog paintings
Update on my system today. Just received a Marantz SA8005 to act as USB DAC for my Nucleus and also to spin a few SACDs. I ripped the DSD64 layer of my 200+ SACDs a few years ago and have been playing them via Roon since then but recently I’ve hankered after playing the physical discs again. The Marantz player/DAC gives me the option of both types of playback, plus it’ll also play my DSD128 files. NativeDSD.com provides a lot of great classical DSD downloads.
The rest of the system remains the same. Quad 34/303 for amplification and Falcon LS3/5a speakers. I love the Quads they’re such good value, in fact the speakers stands cost almost as much as them! Vinyl source is a Technics SL-1200G with Audio Technica VM540ML cartridge.
Cheers everyone
you have my dream setup there!
Hi, its an Epson projector onto 120” screen using Apple TV via Sony AV. The sound actually goes via a REGA iO amp (bit warmer and better sounding than an AV amp) I didn’t do anything special to get the remote app to fill the screen.
Gorgeous setup – love the view and appearance of all those details.
Congrats
Anthony… Really love that setup… it’s particularly inspiring to see the Cambridge components as I have them as well! Absolutely beautiful with the Sonetto IIIs… could only imagine how great it all sounds!!!
