Thank You :+1:

A slightly more functional Georgian Bureau full of the junk we collect…

Looks very good. Also the pink in the upper left gets balanced by the yellow ball that is sarcastically laughing at the doll dog…

It’s a doll cat, and the tennis ball belongs to the real cat & the pink thing is a birthday card which i’m not allowed to remove

I love non removable gifts.
My story was just a warm up before politely asking what is this:

You got some junk in your trunk?

Probably won’t surprise you to hear that I have one of those…lol.
Think it was a Christmas present one year or another

The drawers are full of junk, 90% of it owned by SWMBO

Finally got the wife’s art up on the walls and brought in an old Harman Kardon Citation 7.1 amp. Sounds great! This weekend I will rearrange the stuff.

Yay! I will let my wife know. She is prolific with her art and will appreciate the feedback!

Love it! A man needs two turntables in his setup!
And the artwork was lovely, great tones both there and from the hifi!

Minimalist setup:
Core: iMac
Streamer: Bluesound Node (ethernet connection)
Amp: 2 monoblocks, 50W per channel, class AB (and passive pre = switch and line attenuator)
Speakers: Harbeth P3ESR
Display: customized Roon display
I enjoy endless hours of music, mostly near field listening.

Love that Tolomeo.

Found myself a Cocktail Audio N25 today on a second-hand market site this morning. The owner bought this unit to use as a DAB+ replacement for his FM radio. Why people buy stuff not even knowing what to need exactly… I don’t know. Both he and his wife could not deal with the N25 so they ‘dumped’ it for a price lower than bargain. Now this Roon Ready device plays in my study-room on 2 active Beolab 6000mk2 speakers. Before they were connected directly to the Roon Rock with a Dragonfly USB DAC. I made a giant step forward today.

Complain not. It’s an ill wind and all that…

You must not part with it, it’s beautiful! If it’s too jarring in relation to your house, sell your house and build one that matches the cabinet!
