@AudioEnZo - Have you seen the new Holo Red streamer?
Yes, I compared the Mano Ultra with the Holo Audio RED, where the Mano wins on resolution and details.
The RED was very similar to the SOtM sMS-200ultra I had, so it wasn’t any real progress.
Thanks very much. I really like them…they replaced a pair of MG II speakers …biamping them with the brystons works great
I have a closed salamander cabinet for HT…but I prefer open for my audiophile gear…particularly with two amps
Good spotting…yes a BX-125…does not get a lot of use now. The turntable is a DP52F…very close to the 51. I bought it new…never really needed to upgrade…
Hey Jim…What’s a Turntable…Something from a covered wagon? ![]()
i think it is from when knights wore armor…they were of course, steam powered. ( The turntables, not the knights)
This is one of the first comparisons I’ve read, Thanks for sharing.
Hans B did a review on YT not long ago - he was very impressed
if you’re making your own stands you can fill them with sand (the white stuff for your budgy cage)
I think he said he has them but weren’t available for the photo due to furniture rearrangement. Been there, they’re probably behind something heavy…
This is my system:
McIntosh MA8900
Rega Planar 6 Turntable
Klipsch Forte III speakers
Roon Core is a Mac Mini M1, hidden, connected via USB to the McIntosh
My neighbor built the cabinet for me
FAQ:
Q: “What can you tell us about those lamps?!”
A: They are from Walmart
That’s very cool, Doug. Nice and minimalist. ![]()
So clean and inviting. Lovely.
this is perfect, and I bet it sounds wonderful.
Q: what can you tell us about that rug?
A:…
Looks like ones sold online. Rugs.com maybe? Wayfair?
Ha ha Amazon
The colors matched my room so I found something I liked on Amazon. My friends make fun of me because it looks like the carpeting at the Nashville airport
No making fun here. I had the round version in my living room for years. ![]()
Why a 200wpc amp with speakers that rattle the foundation with 10 watts?
