Welcome to 2025 & please continue to post your audio gear & Roon setup pics here….
Excuse the mess. My makeshift room of requirements doubles as listening room when I’m operating on other things mostly audio repairs etc
speakers are 2 pairs of Linkwitz LXmini+2’s one operational the other appeasing my wife from the space downstairs that also still has Linkwitz Orions, Plutos and my main rig LX521.4MG’s shown below. All DIY.

Additions in 2024: Shanling ET3 CD Transport, a pair of REL T/9x subwoofers, iFi LAN iPurifier Pro, LAN iSilencer, DC Blocker+ (multiple), GND Defender, and a few ground boxes.
One year on the way with Roon, last year my set up was as follows:
During 2024 the speakers received a small upgrade (same model: MFB 587 from 1979, but black tulip version and they were completely overhauled by MFBFreaks in the Netherlands):
And finally upgraded to a Mcintosh… however that is the cabinet, housing the Denafrips Arce & Pontus 15th edition…
I use an iPad Pro mounted on the wall to operate everything.
Those speakers seem to have been years ahead of the pack with their amps and crossovers etc
I remember Philips used to make some good quality HiFi when I was a kid in the 70/80s
Such a diverse and innovative product history too, shame it’s tailed off now - I went to Evoluon in Eindhoven a few years ago, to revisit childhood memories; the flying saucer is still there, but sadly no longer the fantastic museum it was (please excuse the off-topic tangent)
(Ahem, I’ll get back on topic)
I love my Diablo Utopias - but the colour was grating. I’d planned to get my friend (who painted the bass speakers) to do them - but it seemed like such a faff…
So I tried a bit of Wrapping - v pleased with the result

Okay, I’ll jump on the bandwagon to be an early 2025 participant of pic sharing.
My main music listening room also doubles as my TV room. I truly enjoy spending time in it, though life often has other plans. So, I listen to music quite a bit on my headphone rig when working in front of the computer. I’ve also set up Roon to deliver music to every room in the house so music is everywhere. Here are pics of my main room.
As a source of humour, I sourced a couple of power conditioning units from China years ago. They make me grin because, for whatever reason, the manufacturer couldn’t get the power switch positioned straight. I thought it was a defect until I ordered the second one, to only have it match. The components inside are decent, though.
I’m a fan of the Devialet Phantoms. The low end they deliver is simply astounding. You have to hear them to believe it. The Mutec lowers the listening noise floor to the point it is completely black. There is no noise floor. And the miniDSP provides Dirac digital room correction which ties it all together. I haven’t paid a lot of attention to physical room correction though I would think it could further improve the room, but honestly I’m happy as it is. The sofas, cushions and carpet work good enough in tandem with the digital room correction.
Best wishes for the New Year. Enjoy the music.
Got myself a new WiiM Ultra to provide my computer corner with some nice music. Placed next to my daily NUC, blu-ray writer & Loxjie Audio D30 stack.
It is connected to a pair of Presonus Eris E4.5 BT active monitors
It sounds really great for its price

Beautiful room. Looks like a basement or cellar. The hearth looks amazing.
Thanks.
It is night. The windows are not visible in the photo.
This is the ground floor of a very old house (17th century).
A bit of holiday cheer around HiFi Rose RS130, LampizatOr Atlantic TRP 3 balanced with volume, two PL Evo 400, a PL tube cd player, and Lawrence Audio Cello speakers. Fed by fiber from a dedicated switch and Roon rock in the basement below. Power by Denali, all cables are Zavfino. For hot summers there is a little all solid state system here as well (Roon on Rasberry with screen, Pro-ject Digital Prebox Dac/Preamp, Odyssey Audio Karthago Amp, and KEF LS50 Meta speakers). Need a bigger house…
