Think I found problem. The B52’s. Would the ‘ cause this not to transfer?
Are you doing direct transfers - old drive to new drive
Or
Old drive to computer
Then
Computer to new drive
Could, not all OS’s accept the same characters as valid in file names. One of the reasons I get rid of all non-alpha numberic characters from the actual file names.
Old drive to new drive. All done except can’t figure out the B52s issue
It must be as per @Rugby suggests. The ’ could be the issue. In my experience it’d advise of this. If there aren’t many B52 songs, albums maybe remove the ’
Or try old drive to computer, then computer to new drive.
Still think it’s corrupt…
Will try both
So found this. There are 4 b52 albums. One album says zero bytes, no content. I got the other 3 to transfer. Is there a way to get the content in this one album without ripping the cd again? I doubt it, and if not, I will let it go.everything else in my local library has transferred and plays in Roon, so I am pretty happy
No, if the rip was bad, it is bad. You will need to re-rip. Or purchase the high res version. I purchased the complete B-52s high res collection and it sounds great. Which album has the bad rip?
Cosmic Thing
I’m not gonna worry about it. The Hi-Rez versions are in Qobuz so not too big a deal
Thanks, everyone for the help
