Arrival also includes my favourite Max Richter track, which isn’t on the soundtrack. It’s called ‘On the Nature of Daylight’ which is on his Blue Notebooks album

I have that on vinyl!

Vinyl nice. Funny story.

I’ve been wanting the CD but was surprised how expensive on the used market. I remembered I had the Deluxe Edition DVD in limited license plate shaped tin. Sure enough the Deluxe edition contained the soundtrack on CD. So ripped it up and Roon-ed it today. Nice when things work out from time to time.

Your vinly is probably worth a lot more than the used CDs.

I’ve not looked. But, it is a good soundtrack.

Same track 23 different versions on the theme - has it moments, but that’s about it.

David Ferguson & Matt Sweeney
The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: The Housebuilding EP (2021)

I am a Matt Sweeney fan generally…no idea who David Ferguson is & I’ve never bothered to Google.

I feel that this release sounds like it ‘should’ & is mighty fine!

Red Dead

We’ve had the Nico Fidenco soundtracks Black Emanuelle, Emanuelle Goes to America, Emanuelle Around The World & Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals but not:

Colin Stetson
Outlaws & Angels (2016)

(Nothing jazz here per my tag, it’s so this is with my other Stetson albums).

Other than 3 ‘tracks’, this is little more than a series of bleak/dark sound vignettes. Perhaps, it suits the vision. Not having seen it, I have no idea if that’s the case!
