Thank you for trying, but I think I am done trying with this. I do not want them in my Home app, as they serve no purpose there for me and will just further clutter the Home app. These speakers worked fine without being in the Home before the Roon update that broke them.
Or maybe Sonos broke them? Whatever the case, the speakers are currently being troublesome with all apps, with the exception being that I can usually get them to work at some point. Usually opening the Sonos app, and or force quitting that app will get them to work for other apps. At this point I am probably going to replace them with something more reliable.
We understand - it’s more so a temporary test for troubleshooting purposes, but if you’re not interested in giving that a try, we’ll absolutely still keep you updated on any progress our team makes. Thanks for your patience in the meantime
How close are we to the actual update that will address the Era100 AirPlay issue? Have you been in contact with the Sonos techs? Clearly it’s a Roon issue as AirPlay works on other 3rd party apps.
