Suddenly my roon just hangs...forever

I have been using Roon now for 2.5 years. I have:

Meridian V818 DAC
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
OSX 10.10.5
Pakedge RK-1 Router
Both the DAC and Roon Core are connected via LAN/Ethernet

About two weeks ago my system stopped working. I launch Roon and just get a continuous ‘loading screen’ attached. High level trouble shooting:

I can connect to TIDAL (Well in settings I get confirmation of the connection) but cant see content

I try to see my audio/DAC device in ‘Audio Settings’ but can’t see anything?

I did update the MAC roon software about a week ago.

Help :frowning:

There is already a thread on this. Looks like a European outage. The US is unaffected (or they are all still in bed…)

Surely it cant be an outage for two weeks? Can you point me to the thread?

Original post only an hour or so old.

OK thanks. Will see. Its not just at the weekend for me. Also in the week

Its not this. Still the same problem

There is an issue with 10.10.5 that involves going back to B416

OK Thanks will try that now

Matt

Sorry, can you point me in the direction of Build 416. The Roon download page defaults to the latest version and I can’t find any rollbacks?

Matt

It is in the article @wizardofoz linked to above:

Hi @Matt_Farrar,

I just wanted to check in and make sure you were able to get up and running using the instructions outlined here:

Notice about Roon and Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.5

If you have any questions please let me know!

Yes thank you . All working again :+1::+1:
