Support Need help locating my nucleus

I need assistance. My Roon Nucleus was initially working fine, but I accessed it with a MacBook that has since been wiped. I never altered my nucleus to let it be controlled by other machines. So now I am unable to locate the nucleus through any kind of scan for it, even using the exact IP. How do I reset my nucleus or otherwise gain control of it?

Normally the admin web page of your router should list any network devices connected to your router. If it’s a decent router, it should also provide a name service for the LAN so that you don’t need the IP and going to http://nucleus or http://nucleus.local in your web browser should suffice to visit the Nucleus’s admin web page.

Apart from that, the Roon app on your phone, tablet or new computer should find it. Does this not work?

And by the way, there is nothing to alter on the Nucleus to let it be accessed by other machines. All roon apps on your network should simply find it.

Hey @Matthew_Lintner,

Ben with the support team here, thanks for your patience while we work through each thread! I was able to pull your account up, and I see that your Nucleus has been online and active within the hour. Are you still running into issues here?

There are some good next steps listed in this thread, let me know your status and if any of the above was helpful.

Thanks!
