I ran into a problem during a Roon SW update and after my PC rebooted I had lost Roon altogether. I reinstalled the SW but even though it seems to accept my Tidal and Roon login details it never actually seems to log in. At least none of my albums ever appears in Tidal or Roon .
I use Windows 10, I have locally stored files on a DROBO 5N NAS and use Tidal for streaming.
I tried using an incorrect PW which was recognised as wrong immediately. I changed my PW but got the same result when I tried to log in with the new one i.e. nothing but a neverending login.
Hi @David_Hill ----- Thank you for the report and my apologies for the troubles here. To help aide in my evaluation of this issue, may I kindly ask you to please expand on the description of your setup as seen here.
Lastly, I would like to propose a small test to see if we can trigger a change in behavior here. Could you please try the following:
Make a backup of your current DB as seen here.
Once the backup has been made and is now safely saved elsewhere…
Navigate back to your Roon folder.
Rename it to something like
Reinstall Roon from our website.
Try to log back in.
