Hey @Bjarte_Magnussen,
Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! We were able to enable diagnostic mode for your Roon Server, and saw multiple errors in realtion to reaching upstream services - Tidal included.
How is your machine connected to your router? And, do you happen to know what DNS server you’re currently using?
If you haven’t yet, I’d make a fresh backup, then log out of your Tidal account in Roon - reboot your server, then manually re-login, and let me know if you experience the same issue.
Let’s also clear your Tidal cache and see if the same issue occurs:
RoonServer/Cache/Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktopNoted @AE67 - thank you.
We’ll be monitoring for your reply! ![]()
@benjamin I am not Bjarte, but I have the same problem and tried your suggestions.
Unfortunately it makes no difference.
In my case some (but not all) of the Tidal genres new albums did not sync.
F.e. last sync of genre ‘german’ was March 28th.
Same ‘electronic’ and ‘dance’ many months.
Some goes far more back, Comedy July 24, Children May 24.
Hey,
Problem still exists after trying the proposed fix procedure.
Best regards Bjarte
I am the same, the Dance and Electronic have not been updated since January.
It has been highlighted in other threads too, still no update.
The Tidal new albums list has remained unchanged for the past two weeks, with the same albums listed.
Is the support team aware of this, and if so, is there an ETA for the fix? If not, please let me know if I can provide any information to assist in troubleshooting this issue.
Thanks.
Hello @Bjarte_Magnussen,
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue with your TIDAL account:
Additionally, you can create a new profile in the Roon application and see if there is any syncing between Roon and TIDAL for the new profile.
I followed the procedure outlined, but I still have the same problem.
Hi, I have the same issue but the outdated date is August 15
Also the “New Tracks” section is stuck at the Aug 15 date
Edit: as noted in the other thread also the below section “Master Quality Authenticated” is not only outdated in its title name (now being called HiRes) but its albums date to 2023
Yes, this is exactly where i’m stuck too.

Tidal is not updating in Roon
EE WiFi 7
Good day @Kerry_Davies !
I hope you’re doing well today.
Sorry to see you are facing a problem.
Could you please provide a bit more of details with us about your problem ?
What do you mean under
?
Looking forward to your reply!
Regards.
New music is not showing from Tidal in Roon. The last time new albums were updated for me is August 15th. I have tried logging out of the Tidal service and back in but that did not reslove the issue. If I open the Tidal standalone app, I can see all new music there as expected.
I have also added new albums to my collection through the Tidal app. They are not appearing in Roon.
I think there have been other users with the same issue.
Thanks, Kerry
Good day @Kerry_Davies !
I hope you’re doing well today.
Thank you for explaining your question!
What you experience happens because Roon does not show you tracks from Tidal directly . Roon does have its own database of tracks from Tidal which is being updated a bit later after the track comes to Tidal .
Thus we do recommend you to wait a little bit until Roon’s database will sync with Tidal’s library and start showing you new comings.
We’re truly sorry if it takes longer than you expect.
Stay Tuned!
Regards.
Hi Alex
Sorry, but that is unacceptable. As it stands Roon is three weeks out of date with Tidal!
That is not waiting a little bit…Obviously something is not right. Tidal is the streaming service I use and if Roon does not work properly with it then I will need a refund.
I’m hoping this issue is being looked at properly and will get a resolution as I want to remain a Roon customer.
Thanks
Hi @Kerry_Davies,
Thanks for the follow-up. There was an issue on the Tidal side that was preventing updates from getting sent over properly.
Tidal has already found and initiated a fix for this, and so you should get updated content within the next 24 hours or so.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime! ![]()
Agreed. Having same issue. Today…September 5…Roon did not update with new Friday Tidal releases. Tidal is showing all the new releases. They are just not ‘migrating’ over to Roon. This seems to be happening more and more of late. Please make every effort to fix his once and for all.
Will this fix make the new releases in Tidal to appear the same day in Roon (if they drop on a friday, it will be on a friday)?
Because right now many new releases I saw in Tidal are nowhere to be found in Roon even with the search
