Describe the issue

Hi Folks

Received the Roon Titan today. Replacing my Roon Nucleus+. Questions.

  1. I assume I should remove hard drive (has all my ripped cds) in existing Nucleus+ and insert in Nucleus Titan. Correct? If so, please send instructions.
  2. Since I already am a Roon subscriber and have playlists etc, I assume these will migrate over. None of this is clear from the minimalist startup instructions. Thanks

The first part, removing the hard drive from the Nucleus is just the reverse of installing Nucleus Internal Storage

Once removed, the new disk is installed in the Titan using a very similar procedure. Once you have removed the disk from the Nucleus Plus, installing it in the Titan should be self explanetory.

However, @Collin_Bruce gave a brief outline of the Titan install in the post below:

Hi @Sunder_Subbaroyan ,

Yes, the drive should be able to be moved from one Nucleus to the other. As for the playlists, you will need to restore a Roon backup to the Nucleus once the drive is moved and installed, please see:

Hope this helps!

Wade

A note of thanks.

Migrated to Titan successfully today per instructions you and other members forwarded.

Much appreciated

Hi Noris

I just saw your instructions. My bad.

3 of my 4 playlists came across without the recommended backup you instructed. For whatever reason the 4th got deleted.

Regards

Sunder
