Describe the issue
hi, my prom is connecting to my new roon-server. had a nuc10 i7 64GB ram and changed to a cirrus7. have deleted the roon-server on my nuc, but still getting no collection to my server, which is not seen on my network, but seen in my fritzbox.
Describe your network setup
my collection is on a Synology DS 418, router is a fritz!box 7590, server is ROCK, remotes are iphone & NUC 10 i7
But to be honest, as hardly anyone has a collection as large as yours, hardly anyone can say what amount of time it will take or when it is too much and something is wrong. Only a look into your Roon Server’s logs may reveal if something is amiss or not.
It’s unlikely the community will be able to solve this issue thus I recommend you seek assistance from Roon technical support.
The other Roon servers listed on your screenshots are related to the ongoing issue which is affecting a significant number of Roon users.
Whilst clearly not right, I believe they are related to your specific issue.
PS when uploading Roon logs, it’s recommended to zip the whole log folder and then upload the zip file.

Hi @Matz, I see you have now created a support request
I’ve moved over all posts from your Roon Software Discussion topic so all the history is together.
Thanks for reaching out about this issue. To help us move forward with troubleshooting, the best next step would be to review your logs.
Could you clarify which remote is experiencing the problem? The remote devices we’re seeing on our end appear to be connected to different networks than your Cirrus7 server, so it’s difficult to tell which one we should investigate.
want to use “this PC” only as Remote, but it is still declared as “server”
I´m unable to rename “Roon Server”, cause it´s running?! although I´m using “ROCK”
This isn’t an issue since only one server will be active. But, you should be able to disable the server from the Windows task bar icon.
To rename the old server, you need to enable it, go to Settings → General, and edit it’s name. However, if you are using it just as a bridge, the name isn’t important.
Another thing to be mindful of is that the new server (NUC) will inherit the old server’s name when you restore a backup from the old server (PC).
Therefore, it is a good idea to power down the old server while setting up and renaming the new server.
