I am using roon arc on an Astell&Kern SP3000. The version of roon arc on the sp3000 is 1.0.40 and my roon server version is version 2.0 (build 1407). After logging in to my account and connecting to roon core, I am stuck in searching for roon core and cannot connect to roon server (I can connect to roon core on other devices (iPhone 12 pro max, ipad) in the same network.) What is the reason for this?
As far as anyone can tell, it would be up to A&K to provide an ARC version that isn’t ancient like the 1.0.40 that they offer. 1.0.40 is from July 2023 and it simply can’t work with a current Roon server version. And even if it did, nobody would want to use it because ARC has improved a lot since then.
What’s unclear is why A&K don’t do this or if somehow they need help from RoonLabs. You can find the existing topic here:
