Describe the issue

Just de-authorized MacBook Air and connected newly installed Nucleus One. Opened Roon App on my iMac 24. No problem. Next on MacBookAir Chose Nucleus One. Clicked Connect. Logged-In. Won't. Returns to Log In.

Describe your network setup

Netgear CAX80. Hardwired to iMac 24. WiFi for 2 ipads, MacBook Air (former core) and iPhone 16. iMac 24 connects to newly installed Nucleus One. Others refuse. Keep returning to Login screen.

Hi @Evan_Press,

Adblockers in the default browser commonly intercept the login redirect, which prevents Roon from seeing that you’ve just authorized the session.

Please try disabling adblockers in whichever browser you’re using with Roon - this will be Safari by default on iOS devices.

If that doesn’t work, try clearing the cache or switching to a different browser entirely. Navigate to the Roon account page in a browser and close/logout of any active sessions you see listed. Then try signing into Roon via the application again.

Let us know if this helps. Thanks!

Hi @Evan_Press ,

Diagnostics indicate that you might have signed into Roon on the affected Mac since you last posted.

We noticed there’s still an active RoonServer instance on the Mac, as well, even though the Nucleus hosting your RoonServer is now online.

It can be helpful to ensure that “launch on startup” is disabled to prevent your Roon remotes from accidentally connecting to the old Mac RoonServer if you restart the machine. You can also deeply uninstall RoonServer by navigating to the Macbook’s RoonServer Database Location and deleting the RoonServer folder.

This thread will soon close for inactivity - please reach out if we can help further. Thanks!

He carried on the conversation here (and I answered him):

thanks. i will give it a few days to see if everything is working okay. When I tried to change the name from MacBook Air to Nucleus One, I lost most everything. Restored and looks okay. But still has old MacBook Air Name. Good enough for now. Thanks to everyone for all the help.
