Unable to remove albums from Listen Later list (ref#6L279N)

I am unable to remove some albums from my Listen Later list.
When clicking the Remove from Listen Later button, nothing happens and the album stays on the list. I want to remove it. I have already listened it.

Do you run your server and remotes all on the latest Roon version that contains a fix for this issue?

I am running all the latest versions for my clients and server.

This problem is on all clients (Windows, Mac, Android). And also on Roon Arc on Android.

Hello @Ivo_Dijkgraaf,

Thank you for reaching out to Roon Support.

We attempted to enable diagnostics on your account, but it appears that the account used to run Roon on your NAS does not have sufficient permissions to access the logs folder and write files.

The error we received is:
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘/var/log/syslog.log.1.xz’ is denied.

Could you please update the account permissions to allow access to the logs folder? Once updated, kindly reproduce the issue again and provide us with the exact timestamp when it occurs. This will help us locate the relevant data and investigate further.

Thank you!

How do I update the account permissions?
I run Roon Server on my Synology NAS.
I do not see a syslog.lo.1.xz file in /var/log

Hello @Ivo_Dijkgraaf,

Here is the guide on how to change the permissions on the Synology

There is no such file because we do not have permission to write to that folder. Please update the permission to /var/log/ folder and let us know.

The is no way to change the permission for the /var/log folder. Only for Shared Folders.

The RoonServer logs are in the data/RoonOnNAS/RoonServer/Logs folder

This is what I see in the RoonServer_log.txt file when I try to remove a played item from the Listen Later list:

05/28 15:11:38 Trace: [listen_later] set listen later state to None for object: LibraryAlbum[391727, Drew Baldridge - Country Born]

Hello @Ivo_Dijkgraaf,

Would you kindly upload the logs folder using the following link to our File Uploader for further review?

I have uploaded the Log folder.

Have you seen this thread and temporary solution?

Done that. But I have still 2 albums on my Listen Later played items that I cannot remove.
They cannot be removed.

I managed to remove the albums using the tip mentioned in: Unable to Remove Album from Listen Later Screen (ref#O0IY4P) [Ticket In].

Still a bit buggy.
