Unable to use Google nest hub as a ”Display” for ”Now playing”-info

Wired and wifi, netgear gigabit switches and 802.11acx via router

Because the Nest Hub is not on the list of supported display devices:

Google Nest Hub as a Roon Display

Hi, I just joined Roon, it’s awesome. Would be great to use the nest hub on my desk as a display for what’s playing. I saw there was a thread on this and @dylan mentioned that the devs are aware of this: Google Home Hub as Roon Display?. Since that thread is closed, I wanted to create a new topic for this here, wondering what’s the status now? Thanks, Arka

Thanks for the reply, as it is a chromecast device I thought it fell under that category.
But no worries let’s see what the future brings

I think Chromecast device only refers to the dongles that were named this way. The documentation could occasionally do with some updates
