This happens if you add a track to a playlist and later it is pulled by the streaming service (and often replaced by a different version).
There is unfortunately no option to display all unavailable tracks but the newly added Playlist Improver feature is meant to help fix this for playlists:

The actual “Improve” function of playlists needs some tweaking. I still have regularly songs in my playlists that have become unavailable (Qobuz) but the Roon Improve function has not come up with a replacement of the track. This happens, when an album will be replaced by another master or will be withdrawn completely. However, the specific track from the same artist is most likely still available on another album.
