We have just released Roon Build 1169 to address this issue and have edited the pinned post:

Update issue with RoonServer/Roon on build 1167

Earlier today we released Roon build 1167 and discovered an issue which prevented Roon from starting for some users. We have just released build 1169 which corrects this problem. If you have already updated to 1167 and Roon is not starting properly, please follow the instructions listed below in the following Knowledge Base article to manually resolve the issue.
