this is the message I get when I direct room to the folder that contains 99% of my music files. Those files reside on a MacMini that is on my home network. I have no idea how to tell Roon to find the file other than the way I usually get to those files via my laptop. I thought perhaps I would just install Roon on the Mac mini but it won’t let me do not since I have already set-up my account.
You can either use SMB instead of AFP (AFP is deprecated by Apple, as they have moved over to SMB), or you can install Roon on the MacMini. Roon installs are not tied to machines, and you can easily move the membership over to the other machine. Just run, and it’ll ask you to deauthorize the other machine.
