While GĂźnter Wandâs live Bruckner recordings on RCA are rightly held in high esteem, these later recordings with the Munich Philharmonic were never released during his lifetime. Only after his death in 2002, they were released on the German Profil-Hänssler label. And what performances they are⌠This is music I only can listen to later at night, when all around me is still⌠I imagine the next-door neighbors shaking their fists at me, thoughâŚ
Sorry to hear about the issues @Stephane, techâs at its best when you donât notice it. Hope youâre back to enjoying music without distractions soon.
Never mind @killdozer , itâs not the end of the worldâŚ
Roon is overall a good tool, I just had to make a backup
A new sound in the (classical) landscape, always nice !
Worth to give it a try.
Always good to see mention of Great Lake Swimmers, but Luluc are new to me. I shall check them out. Thanks.
Listened to this several times over the past month. Although classed as âmodern jazz,â I would say more in keeping with The Cinematic Orchestra, Jon Hopkins and even Massive Attack. Worth a listen.
Following your recommendation Iâm giving this album a go. Good so far. The male/female harmonies remind me a little bit of Low, but the overall feel is much more indie-folk rather than slowcore. Although, to be fair, Iâd hardly describe Lowâs output over the past decade and a half as being slowcore anymore! Labels - who needs them?
Sorry to hear of your troubles but glad your getting everything back up and running! I too have been putting off the backups cause Iâm in the middle of switching to a new rock setup and well have been a little lazy lately. This may be the kick in the rump I need to get going forward with this project!
