Hi @James_Williams, Thank you for the report. We haven’t yet fully integrated Roon Remote with Apple’s Accessibility features and recognize the urgency of the work. The team has a ticket to release this in a future build of Roon - we will post updates here as soon as they are available.

… which I take as promising, only time will tell.

IIRC there is an existing accessibility topic in Feature Suggestions which could be appended to and voted on.

Use of Roon on iPad for people with disabilities, Voice control

I have a disability and can’t touch my screen so Roon app is very difficult to use because it does not enable voice control technology that most apps available on Apples App Store do. Basically it’s a series of numbers posted throughout the page that allow you to State the number versus touch the screen. I have considerable difficulty touching the screen so it’s not easy to use Roon. Is there any way this could be addressed in the next update?

Accessibility for blind people

A chap on the Naim forum on a thread where I’m defending Roon’s cost (yet again) mentioned his son loves Roon but he cannot use it as he is blind. Apparently with the Naim app he can use “voice over screen” to allow him “see” his music. I’m surprised a relatively basic app like the Naim app can have this functionality but Roon which appears light years ahead doesn’t. It would be nice if Roon could commit to making the software fully accessible for blind people. .sjb
