Remotes are:
MacBookPro 2018 and iPhone XR both with OS version 1.8 (build 923)
System worked fine for 8 months. However, since a few weeks Roon operated from either phone or laptop crashes immediately upon trying to use the SEARCH function

I expected that answer and have been looking into that. But while it is easy to update the OS for the remotes, I have not figured out how to do that for the core. For some reason the automatic update is not functioning because I continuously get the message “There was an error checking for an update”. Is there a way to manually update to the latest version of the Core OS?
I’d contact the server manufacturer. Its a custom OS etc.
I don’t believe the status has changed on this…
Roon does have the Silent Angel M1 and Munich M1T on the list as a DAC and a Bridge but nothing else.
