Mac Mini running MacOS 27 as Roon Server, hardwired to ethernet switch. Raspberry Pi 4 running a version of Ropieee I installed a year ago and it is hardwired to the same switch. Roon was streaming music just fine.
Decided to go to the web interface of Ropieee and upgrade to the newest version, could not bring it up using http://ropieee.local or the IP address of the box.
Thought my Raspberry Pi 4 went bad so I purchased a new one, flashed a new SD card with the newest version of Ropieee and fired it up. Still cannot get to the web interface.
Raspberry Pi has a steady red light (power) and steady blinking green light
One update. I got Roon streaming fine through Ropieee by quitting Roon server and then restarting it by going to Applications…right clicking on Roon.app and choosing show package contents. Opened Contents folder and clicked on RoonServer.app. Apparently this is a known problem under MacOS 27 to get Roon devices (like Ropieee) to show up. I still cannot get to the web interface of Ropiee
Just posted an update (I will let you read it) but the summary is I got Roon streaming fine using RPi4 and Ropiee but still cannot get to the web interface of Ropieee
RPi4 hardwired to Netgear unmanaged switch. Mac Mini with all the music also hardwired to the same switch. Tried using http://ropieee.local/ as well as 192.168.4.76
I can ping 192.168.4.76 just fine. I did a port scan on this same IP address and port 80 and 8080 are open. I can play music just fine through Roon so I am baffled. The last time I visited the Ropiee web interface was almost a year ago. The only other change I made to the network was getting rid of my Asus wifi access point and installing two Eero access points. I have dug in the Eero interface and do not see anything that should be blocking this
I cannot get to it with http://verox.local or the IP address. The screenshot you posted, is that from the web interface or a monitor hooked to your Raspberry Pi?
Reflashed my card using the latest Verox download. Roon works fine but still cannot get to the web interface using IP address. Any methods to troubleshoot this? SSH? Attach a monitor to raspberry pi?
I take it you’ve tried accessing it from multiple different devices and/or different browsers, also on the wired network, so as to avoid any WiFi oddities and (hopefully) dodge firewall peculiarities on any specific client.
