Can't delete album anymore

Description of Issue

After updating to Roon 2.0 (not flawless unfortunately) I have the problem that I can’t delete albums anymore in my library. Sometimes it deletes some FLACs (but not all) and the albums stays in Roon. When I delete the files on the NAS with FileStation (also from trash) and I try to delete the album in Roon it still stays in place.

My files are stored in:
\10.0.1.50\Music

I add albums by dropping an album on Roon. Roon then creates a folder in:
\10.0.1.50\Roon Imports\iMac\imported at <date>

What I found out for new imports that it now imports files in:
\10.0.1.50\Roon Imports\Mac-Mini-van-Ruben\imported at <date>

I have a new computer with a different computername. I changed my computername to iMac but that doesn’t help. It only creates a new folder in imported at <date> in the iMac subfolder during import. I still can’t delete the album I just imported.

So now I have Roon 2.0 running but I can’t manage my album collection anymore

I’ve restarted the core, the NAS, my computer, Roon on the computer, the remotes, no difference.

I gave all rights on the files on the NAS but also no difference.

I’ll try some stuff again this weekend like installing the latest update but it’s not easy with no directions

After importing, I set maximum rights on the files on my NAS (777) then i deleted the files:

Only the first 2 files are deleted, track 03 and 04 are not found (and not deleted) and the albums stays in Roon with two unplayable tracks. The album can’t be deleted anymore, even when I delete the remaining files on my NAS.

I see the same behavior every time, only some files are deleted and the rest is not found. But they are in the same folder and playable after importing…

Please help, my Roon is only good for playback of files an imported before starting this topic. It has no use importing files that can’t be managed after that.

Sincere apologies for the delay in responding to you here, and thank you for sharing all of your relevant logging. Just to make sure we understand what you are saying here, you have the Roon Core on your QNAP, and then you have Roon pointing to the files on the QNAP local drive via SMB instead of referencing locally?

Are you able to re-mount the drive as a local drive by going to Roon Settings → Storage and adding the folder from the left-hand menu? If there are oddities in the library, you may also want to try to create a Backup of your current database, connect all the music folders you wish to have, and then perform a Roon Settings → Library → Clean Up Library.
