Description of the issue

When in the Composition browser, I can select a composition for editing. If I select prefer file, this error comes up (see above) on all occurrences.
Given that a composition can cover multiple tracks, is this the track file?
And which tag in the file would it then be extracting from?
I would assume that it would be the work tag, but this does not seem to be the case. All my work fields are populated uniformly across compositions but only those performances on identified albums are linked in Roon, the rest are displayed as a different work.

Title and Composition issue

Yes, That is correct. There are several feature requests to make this behaviour more consistent so that it is possible also to edit the titles of multi-part works. A common use case would be for transcriptions where the instrumentation has changed and the canonical titles no longer make any sense. I have maintained my titles with the original title (intended by the composer). In this case the title of this composition should be: Sonate Nr. 1 f-Moll Op. 2 Nr. 1 Roon is not using the compos…
