How to play APE and ISO music files？

Hello，
There are a lot of APE and iso music files in my NAS.But they could not be imported to the library in my Roon.How to import and play these files？Need to convert files format？

DSD ISO Support

@Mind_Meld – Roon provides more than just a gui front end and metadata, but yah… you are right, we could add support for DSD ISO. However, it is not a trivial amount of work. For example, what happens to the copy to folder action when you are selecting just 1 track to export? same goes for deleting… same goes for moving tracks… some of these operations no longer make any sense, and some just have to work differently. Converting SACD ISOs to DSF - Best Practice

I heard the multichannel demo in Munich and I must say, it was extremely impressive. The NADAC is certainly a DAC I am following closely. In my view one issue with Multichannel is how metadata is handled for SACD material. With an SACD ISO the stereo and multichannel tracks sit in the same container, so I would assume that the metadata set roon has for a specific SACD content contains both the stereo and multichannel tracks. Known issue, converting all ISO files to FLACs or DSFs (for SACD) is the perfect solution. You have free software available to do this. Kind of a big task initially, but when it is done it is done. Make sure to test software for splitting up ISO on a few albums first. Some of these actually creates glitches between tracks.

I use Jriver Media Center to convert all ISO’s except SACD (this can also be done via Jriver, but the underlying tool got a flaw making audio glitches between each track during the splitting process. So I use ISO2DSD for these.
