I’m using a Linn Klimax DS (Organik variant) and it has the latest Linn beta firmware which adds Roon Ready and should work as such. However, it is still showing as ‘uncertified’, despite rebooting various devices. Linn Klimax DSM (Organik) models appear to be working ok as Roon Ready devices. Looking at the Roon Partner page I see the Linn Klimax DS is only shown as Roon Tested whereas it should also be listed as Roon Ready. Maybe this is the reason my DS isn’t showing as Roon Ready?
The Roon page that you have shown below shows the true Roon Ready stataus.
The Klimax DS probably shows up as Roon Ready (uncertified) because it includes the Roon SDK in the device firmware, presumably so that Roon can certify it. However, until it is certified by Roon (and thus appears as such on the Roon Partners page), then the device will not function as a Roon Ready endpoint.
The DS can not be assumed to be Roon Ready just because the DSM is certified Roon Ready.
You will just have to wait until itis certified by Roon - but you will not be able to find out when that might happen. Roon will not tell you.

Thank you for that, Wade. Linn do seem to think that the DS is certified, as I understand it, so I think it’s more likely a misunderstanding between Linn and Roon, which is why I’ve raised it as an issue both here and on the Linn Dev forum.
From Linn, in the firmware release notes:-
Added Roon Ready support for the following products:
Two things have to happen to make a device Roon Ready.
The manufacturer has to include the SDK and integrate it - this has apparently been done since the device shows as Roon Ready (Uncertified).
Then Roon have to test and certify the implementation at the manufactureres request. This can take some time.
Untill both of these actions have been completed, the device is not Roon Ready - even if the manufacturer thinks that they have done all that they need to do,

I’ve heard back from the good folk at Linn. The DS should be working as Roon Ready. They’re going to contact Roon to see if this can be straightened out.
My understanding is that the partner page that shows the Roon Tested and Roon Ready status is machine generated - so, for what ever reason, Roon, at present, do not treat the device as Roon Ready.
Looking at the Roon partner page at present, only the 5 DSM products - klimax, kustom, majik, selekt and selekt edition (and one powered speaker) show Roon Ready so maybe the others are still undergoing the certification process.
