NAD M12 MQA Issue

I have same problem with roon and nad m12 with bluos 2i mdc.
If i set bluos to only renderer or decode and renderer roon loses control over bluos and want play mqa files from tidal.
If i set no mqa support in roon i can play mqa

Have latest updatet on core and phone bluos has latest update 3.12.13

play mqa files from tidal.

Does local MQA also have the same behavior? If you don’t have any local MQA, you can source a few free ones from the 2L Test Bench (right-click on the file size -> save as).

Seems this can be the same issue I reported here:

No MQA streaming with DSP on (NAD M12)

Happens also with only one of them active, and on all settings it seems. BluOS 3.12.13 brw.

I resolved this issue for my NAD amp by changing the Roon device MQA settings to “decoder and renderer” AND turning off “Enable MQA core decoder” under advance settings.
