no metadata on streaming radio stations since recent update few days ago. what’s the latest on why? a fix? experienced by other users?
There does appear to be a few instances of late yes, one example here
Since yesterday, Metadata for Live Radio is not displayed anymore in footer or Now Playing screen.
Is I disable Qobuz, Live Radio metadata are shown.
Enabling Qobuz : Live Radio metadata are displayed.
There seems to be something fishy with the “auto identify title / artist / album” functionality

See critical error in the log here Metadata not available on most stations - #17 by alec_eiffel
Same happens with Tidal.
Can’t say if it’s a regression caused by the latest software update, or a problem in Roon infrastructure.
@support is there a ticket open for this?
Same issue as No metadata on streaming radio stations [Ticket In] - #2 by AceRimmer
I suspect all Roon users are impacted.
Hi All,
Thanks for the reports here, we are aware of this issue following our latest release, and there is a ticket open for this. Our dev team is currently investigating, and we hope to correct the issue as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your patience!
When i listen to live my radio stations, I could usually click on the radio station logo on the bottom left of screen and a link would appear. Clicking on the link would bring up the song name, artist, and album. This feature seems to have disappeared for me. Does anyone know how to get this back?
John
It sounds like the same issue as

Thanks
Any idea on a fix?
Sorry, no. Best to keep an eye on the threads mentioned.

Description of Issue
When playing Live Radio the song artist and song title used to show in the lower left of the screen and now they do not show?
Are there any updates on this, song titles and artist are still not showing on Live Radio?
Have tou updated to the latest version? It has solved the bug for me, Check Settings/About.
The last “2.0.12” update (" Fixed a bug in which metadata was incorrect on some internet radio stations") improved things but Live Radio metadata is still buggy.
Metadata are not showing up more than often, or are displayed too late. On my Early Access core in debug mode I see a lot of “critical errors” similar to the ones reported above. Strange as until 2.0.11 Live Radio metadata was working perfectly.
@noris Live Radio Metadata still failing. See for example this morning Roon reporting a “critical error” trying to process “Bruce Springsteen - Hungry Heart”. The display stayed on the previous track “Queen - Onve Vision”. The station was PureCLassix.

Thanks for the log snippet @alec_eiffel . There is a ticket in progress for that error trace, we are aware and working on it.
Still getting errors in the logs under the latest Early Access B1237

Additionally, metadata from METADATA SERVICE are unusually slow to appear (just tested Radio Paradise : song info in Roon came in 32 seconds after the central server updated)
Hi @alec_eiffel ,
Are you still seeing this on earlyaccess build 1253?
