No more Localizely / ARC project?

Just curious if ARC project has been closed on Localizely?

Yes, it seems the ARC translation project has been recalled. However, the Metadata translation debacle still shows (for me).

This is a bug We are having a problem with the Localizely project, and it was breaking internal releases of ARC. So for now the translation system is disabled while we investigate.

@ivan or myself will provide updates as soon as we can get things running again. Thanks for your patience, folks.

+1 I don’t know who from Roon staff (or an AI) translated « Single » but in French, « Célibataire » means bachelor . The correct translation of Single is… Single!

I still don’t have access to ARC. More precisely, the ARC project is empty. But the results of the previous translation work are present in the current build.
So I hope everything can be restored or quickly fixed.
Will wait for the Roon team to respond.

Hey folks – I don’t have a lot of news, other than to say we are still working on this issue.

The current translations have not been lost, but there are some ongoing issues with the Localizely project (and specifically the project’s permissions) that we are working to resolve.

Hopefully we will be able to restore all translator permissions and get ARC localizations active again without needing to onboard and re-add everyone, but for now this is with our engineering team.

More updates when I have them and again, apologies for the delays here – we really appreciate everyone’s interest in contributing, and we look forward to getting the project up and running as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone (@ARC_Translators) for your patience while we got things working again.

We believe all the strings should be in place now, and everyone should have access.

As part of the fix, we had to reset everyone’s permissions, so if you are having trouble accessing your language or have any other issues or questions, please flag myself or @ivan so we can look into it.

And of course, thanks again everyone for your help localizing ARC!

Good deeds Mike,

It seems i have been given the opportunity to translate into Norwegian, but not my native Swedish. I sometimes view Norwegian translations for inspiration, but i think my western neighbours would have objections to my translations!
