Album and song titles on Qobuz are not displayed in Japanese.
When I view Japanese albums available on Qobuz through Roon, the album titles are displayed in English, even though Japanese is set as the preferred language in Roon’s settings. However, when I view the same albums using the Linn App, the titles appear correctly in Japanese. I’m wondering if there is a way to have Roon display the Japanese titles as well.
Is there a way to have Japanese titles displayed for Qobuz-registered albums in Roon? The Linn App shows the same albums with Japanese titles, so I assume that Japanese metadata is available from Qobuz.
From the screenshot, I see that you’re using English as the interface language. Could you kindly confirm if the same behavior occurs when interface language switching to Japanese?

I switched the interface language to Japanese, but the album and song titles are still displayed in English.

Roon does not have localized album title data enabled for Qobuz content at this time - it’s not yet a feature that has been enabled on the Roon client side. There are broad architectural considerations for this but it’s not necessarily a permanent reality of Roon’s treatment of localized data.
We recommend creating a post in Feature Suggestions referencing this thread and the information you provided. Other users can vote and lend their voice to that post, which will not auto-close and can gain more visibility than posts in this Support subcategory. The product team peruses Feature Suggestions often and takes suggestions there quite seriously.
Roon’s localization is evolving constantly and, should we release album title localization for Qobuz content in the future, we’ll announce it in Software Release Notes.
