Same problem here. What I would like to know is if we should keep running backups? If the DB is damaged maybe disable them for the time being so we can get back to the previous status?
In my case, I do not see a complete listing in History. More than accessing your albums via Qobuz, one critical issue is that the historic info seems to be gone (how many times tracks have been played, favourite tracks, and so on)
That is why it would be useful to get advise on what to do regarding backups, if anything.
Still no fix, still no ETA? Quite annoying and frustrating. This has been, and still is a recurring problem now since September 2024!! Again, all my Qobuz albums not visible in Roon for days now!! Maybe it’s time for some compensation!
The thread started Sep 24 but these are separate instances of the behavior. It happened then and in Sep 24 it affected one person. The cause from back then was explained early in the thread by Roon Labs. This one was fixed and there were no other reports (at least here) until recently. Similar issues with Qobuz disappearing for many people (more than one isolated case) happened before that, I think more than once, and at least one of them was a bug on the Qobuz side. It’s not even sure if it’s the same root cause now, just the apparently same behavior.
Room not syncing Qobuz album favorites I can see my playlists in roon I can see my albums in Qobuz. Just no albums in Roon itself. I can manually add albums via roon. Everything is updated and is happening in desktop and iOS.
We want to provide an update on this issue and clarify what’s happening. While this thread is old, we’ve been actively investigating and working on the problem. Previously, we addressed and released one potential cause of library discrepancies, but it’s become evident that other factors are contributing, especially given the recent spike in complaints.
For Roon to reflect your Qobuz library, we rely on syncing data with Qobuz. This process depends on the accuracy and reliability of the information we receive from their API. Since January 17th, 2025 we’ve noticed an increase in errors when communicating with Qobuz’s API. These errors can result in some content appearing in Qobuz but not showing up in Roon, and we believe this is a significant contributor to the current burst of reports.
We’ve already informed Qobuz with our findings and are currently waiting for their response. At the same time, we’ve identified a less frequent Roon-specific issue related to library changes during syncs, which can result in similar behavior for certain users. We’re continuing to work on this internally to reduce the chances of it affecting your experience.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges. We’re committed to resolving this as quickly as possible and will provide updates as soon as we have more information from Qobuz or our internal efforts.
The disappearance of Qobuz albums from the Roon library just happened to me. I was listening to something and playback stopped. The only Qobuz album appearing in my library is one I added today. Previously, I had thousands. I guess I’ll just wait it out and hope this gets resolved without my intervention.
This is at least the third time this has happened to me but the first time that it has not resolved itself after 24 hours. I’ve lost over 15,000 albums. I’m not worried that it won’t come back but it is interesting to see the process work itself out. Hopefully Qobuz will get back to Roon quickly and they can find a solution to the API change and push it out to all of us in the next day or two.

Thanks for the update. Is it correct to say that when this is fixed the historic data, like track favourites and number of times played will also be available, or do we need to disable backups so we can back track to recover these data?
Doing backups will not affect anything. Restoring backups will depending on the situation. I would rather have a recent backup and not need it than not have a recent backup and need it.
Over the past 24 hours while manually inputting over 2000 Tidal albums and syncing back and forth between Roon, Tidal, and Qobuz and using Soundiz, I did multiple backups so as not to lose a ton of work should something go wrong during the process.
Hello, I have my entire library in qobuz. Today the entire library disappeared from the albums section. The qobuz account is connected, everything is fine with the subscription, I can go to the qobuz section and see my albums through it, but these albums are no longer displayed in the library. All filters are disabled. Please help. This happened after the update. I disconnected the qobuz account, reconnected it, synchronized the library manually - nothing helps
Describe your network setup
i have not problem with network, i can play music from qobuz section by roon, playlist, my favorite etc
Same problem here. I temporarily brought back Qobuz albums by restoring Roon to an earlier backup. But Qobuz albums disappeared again shortly after. Hope a fix is coming soon!
