Yeah - you really shouldn’t have to muck with them, but: indulge me… Give it a whirl. The worst that can happen is that they have no effect…
will do shortly, wife and child currently monopolising my listening room
Hi @YYZ ---- If you are able to send the content via dropbox, you can send them to me directly in a PM.

You’ve rebooted the Mac Mini, right?
Can you also confirm whether the issue persists with Integer mode turned off?
Yes, rebooted mini (twice). Integer mode turned off has no effect
Changing the settings had no effect unfortunately
Workaround for now is to simply enable Airplay for the networked Yamaha, which works just fine
Is everyone with this issue on a Mac and using core audio - maybe that’s a clue to where to look?
Yup, that seems to be the trend.
@anon22129124 @Per_Braarud – some more information about your setups would be helpful here, as per @Eric’s post:
Kudos to support by the way. Issues are a natural part of this fun. You guys are always on top of shit. If some other large/huge hardware/software vendors could only be as proactive, without naming any of them in particular
Thanks @YYZ – can you try one more thing for me?
Can you try turning Volume Leveling on, and see if the issue still occurs? You can do this by right-clicking the zone (“Yamaha”) in the footer, and then clicking Zone Settings.
That has resolved the machine gun attack !
Ok, good data point
We’re working on it…
I’ve tried this also, but it did not work for me…
We just reproduced the problem here…working on it.
Bonus points for anyone who can identify the common thread for these reports.
Here’s a clue – the affected devices were:
- Focusrite Scarlett 2i4
- Yamaha RX-A3030
- Focusrite Forte
- Audient iD14
Have fun!
Burr Brown DAC
Update: wrong, only 2 out of 4 use Burr Brown
Update 2: double wrong, the older Yammy’s had Burr Brown, now ESS
They are Mic Pre-amps?
