Hi Support Team, Thank you for the update. I would like to report that Track 2, “Polaris,” has started playing successfully without skipping this morning. It seems the backend/CDN sync for this track has been resolved in my region. However, Track 4, “fortune” (96kHz/24bit Version), from the same album is still experiencing the exact same issue. It gets stuck at 00:00 or skipped, while it plays perfectly on the Qobuz native mobile app. Since Track 2 is now fixed, could you please also check and re-index Track 4, “fortune,” on the backend as well? Thank you for your quick response and support!
Unlikely, since it’s a Qobuz-side issue.
I noticed something similar was fixed in the latest firmware for my WiiM Ultra streaming preamp.
It seems Roon does not test whether new tracks will play correctly upon registration, so unless you specifically point out the issue to them, it likely won’t play properly.
On the other hand, since Qobuz experiences no issues with its own playback software, they probably won’t take proactive steps to fix it.
Doesn’t that leave the end user with no other option but to report the problem to Roon?
Hi there,
The song [on Qobuz] Temptation by Diana Krall 24b 96khz stops halfway. Only saying ![]()
The international version of the album or the regular version?
Both 24/96 versions play ok here.
Yup the regular one. Thx in advance
Sorry, i found another one Yellow - The Rythmh Divine 48-24bit
This is probably the Qobuz CDN issue that is affecting you.
Hi Paul,
on my system with Roon 2.7 (build 1670) earlyaccess the song you mentioned is playing at 96 kHz using qobuz.
Which version of Roon do you use ?
Qobuz is aware of the issue and has asked users for direct feedback, whereas Roon is merely proxying the problem to them. However, I think if freshly added tracks are already triggering errors, it’s unlikely Qobuz understands the root cause. At this point, they seem to be fighting a losing battle without fixing the underlying source.
When I initially reported the issue to Qobuz, I received a single response that appeared to be from an AI, but there was absolutely no reaction after that.
You are running a mix of Early Access and Production. This is a Really Bad Idea and it WILL lead to problems sooner or later.
Huh had t noticed but thanks will put Mac client back to prod
Yes, there’s a thread on the Qobuz site, but their communication remains vague at best. Add the unresolved playback issues, and it’s no surprise I decided to walk away.

Wishbone Ash Live Dates Volume two. - stopped at Persephone. This is 44.1k 16 bit. Changed to Linn direct Qobuz play - no problem!
This is beyond a joke…
Hi David, the album sounds fantastic. The song “Persephone” plays perfectly on my system. I also use Roon with Qobuz. I’m using Roon 2.7 (build 1670) early access.
It differs in different regions because different regions are serviced by different Qobuz CDN servers.
