Your kidneys must be filled with gold then. Anyway, how does your headphone sound differently? Can you say better or worse, or just different?
I ran it at the headphone amp of my Project Pre Box Digital S2 before. Although a good DAC the amp sounds awful compared to the Topping. No contest.
I am using a Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital and it does not sound awful at all.

Like it too. But not as a headphone amp for the Meze.
As said - I own that DAC too and really love(?) it. Nice job by John Westlake. Apart from the missing mains switch.
Btw. I had a Topping L30II headphone amp for review here as well. That with the Pro-Ject was marvellous. It’s just the internal headphone amp that sucks. 
OK, I see what you mean, but I really can’t compare because the Pre Box S2 is my first headphone amp. I am using the Pre Box S2 Digital with a Stream Box S2 Ultra to connect it to the network and only for headphone listening. What would be a good match for the Stream Box in terms of a combination of a USB DAC and a headphone amp? I do not want to have more than two small devices in my headphone listening area. …
I had it hooked up to this Topping (which by the way measured crazily good when ASR tested it).
To me it was like night and day compared to the Pro-Ject alone. Which I used exactly like you do.
The L30 is a very small box. No risk as you can return it in case it does not meet your expectations

I been having the E50 for a while. Last October I acquired the Topping P50 linear power supply to match.
I just treated my self for Christmas the L50 headphone amplifier. Can’t wait.
Really like my headphones, hope this does not further me down the rabbit hole.

After a boys dream a couple of years ago came true with buying a SME.
Now an old man’s dream came true by buying my dream amp. Came with build in Roonready DAC.
Disliked the build in phono pre-amp. So bought an Audio Analogue AA phono pre-amp.
Still work in progress. Rack,cables,powerfilter on the way. But after a few day’s it plays like h… with my Manger P1 speakers.

That’s really a statement! I would give a lot to enjoy my Manger Speakers with the Dan D’Agostino Progression Integrated. Unfortunately, it’s a bit outside my budget.
How is the display connected to Roon?
Time to hang up the headphones for awhile. Devialet Phantom II 98db are a new addition. Playing from Antipodes K30 running roon (of course) over wifi.

Current mobile and work Roon ARC set. Probably overpaid for the AudioQuest gear but at least the IEMs are decent.
