By far the best bit about this Roon Community. Stoke me a clipper…
The Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro supports 10G on the WAN side and have one 10G LAN port that could be connected to a 10 GbE switch or client. I know have the Dream Machine hooked up to a Ubiquiti Switch Pro that have two 10G ports. My house ethernet’s still 1GbE but I like to think the bandwidth’s better

Haven’t you seen the show-us-yer-cans thread, yet?
Maybe move your post there…
For a minute, I thought they were hanging on the wall.
Yes not Jecklin floats but Dan Clark floats
That is a [2001-01] thread.
But the last post is from yesterday, so still active.
It is still going strong , I said a long while ago in the thread that the thread title needed changing but it is still the same mis-leading one.
I flagged it to the admins
Edit: title has been updated
My very humble setup but it suits both my budget and room, certainly nothing as flash as some of the systems on here ( some of those are the stuff of dreams )

Looks very nice. Can you give some details on the rack?
Rack is home made, 36mm ply, ikea cabinet legs with speaker spikes attached to them. Whole thing turn out better than expected
Rack looks great would never guess you made it yourself.
Those speakers would sound better pulled clear of the fireplace, unless you already do that when you are listening.
Anyone with both a Lava lamp and a ribbon tweeter has got it goin’ on
If you’re into music streaming and the Klipsch Heritage line, this low-cost Klipsch Heritage line setup may interest you… at a fraction of the cost of their full-size passive speakers.
My main stereo is a Devialet Phantom 1 setup with a few additional black boxes to make them shine. I’ve a collection of my own music files, which I play via Roon. I also enjoy different sound signatures of other speaker manufacturers; one of them being Klipsch’s Heritage line. But with a smallish house and a real effort to stop buying gear, I’ve chosen not to buy any more. As much as I love the Klipsch Forte or Cornwall, my space is too small for such large speakers, not to mention their price tag of a few thousand dollars.
What I already had though were two Klipsch “The Three”, their powered wireless / wired stereo speaker, which is part of their Heritage line. If you’ve never heard them, you’d be shocked to hear how good they sound for such a small box!
Two “The Three” can be paired as a stereo pair via the DTS Play-Fi software when streaming from TIDAL or other online service, resulting in a stereo system rated at 60 watts per channel… More than enough for a small room.
Using the stereo stand I already had I simply mounted them on one of its shelves which happens to be at the ideal listening height.
Now I can enjoy two sound signatures in one room, without taking up additional space or investing more money.
PS… Don’t mind the wires or shelving in the background of the photos. This is an unfinished media / storage room in the works.
Not any more😉
This is lovely.
